For this artwork it was supposed to be slightly realistic, but is a little abstract with it's styling. I was practicing facial proportions and try drawing different faces since I only drew faces that I see in real life or I made up how the faces look. With the background, there was a lot of negative space that came with the portrait. So a background was created that made it look like an optical illusion so that the focus is not only on one thing.
