I wanted to experiment and practice animating different characters. I went with a frog since they are my favourite animals and I was more familiar with how frogs move. Frogs also help me exaggerate certain expressions since many frogs have bulgy eyes and exaggerated appearances.
At first, I was going to opt for a white background and no reflection on the frog, but I realized that having a green background that matches the character and have a shiny effect to the frog helps make the animation more interesting and lively.
