While I was with Woodbine Racetrack during the pandemic, almost everyone at my department got temporally laid off, so I decided to make light of the situation, replace everything with frogs.
Similarly to Froggy Kensington Market, I came up with various frog puns and trying to emulate a similar feel to how the location is in real life. Some of the features includes how the frog with the orange dress is designed. This frog represents the annual Queen's Plate that is a special event at Woodbine, but I replaced that pun with Queen's Pond on the poster to match with the frog theme. I even included a senior frog to represent the seniors that would come into the building frequently.
My favourite thing to draw in this art piece was drawing the poster that attached to the building because I like the colours that was used while I was creating a gradient for the sky and replicating the lady in the glasses with the crown was pretty funny to draw in my opinion.
